Charles Higher Education Fund (CHEF)
Scholarship
Carmie Loving Care, a Metro Atlanta-based home healthcare agency, established the Charles Higher Education Fund to assist young adults in their pursuit to education or business endeavors. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Eligibility
Applicants to the Charles Higher Education Fund must be:
College student or recent (0-2 years) graduate
Attend(ed) U.S. accredited school
Have significant unmet financial need
From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
Awards
If selected as a CHEF Scholar, the recipient will receive a $100 award. Up to 10 awards will be granted this year. In partnership with Spark Your Resume and Brandon Hardy Enterprises, two grand prize winners that will receive the following: resume enhancement with Spark Your Resume, 1 hour brand consulting with Brandon Hardy, 1 hour visionary consulting with Antoinette Charles, and 1 hour social media consulting with Richard Charles.
